A SWOT analysis is a strategic planning tool used to evaluate the internal and external factors affecting a business or project. It consists of four key elements:
- Strengths (S) – Internal advantages (e.g., strong brand, skilled team, unique technology).
- Weaknesses (W) – Internal limitations (e.g., high costs, lack of resources, poor location).
- Opportunities (O) – External favourable conditions (e.g., market growth, new trends, partnerships).
- Threats (T) – External challenges (e.g., competition, economic downturns, regulatory changes).
SWOT analysis helps businesses identify strategic advantages, address weaknesses, capitalise on opportunities, and mitigate risks. It is widely used for decision-making, planning, and competitive analysis.
